At People’s First Choice Australia, we deliberately design our respite accommodation experience to feel like a genuine change of scenery. Participants who stay with us get warm, attentive support in a comfortable environment, with programs and activities that make their time with us something to enjoy, not just endure. And families get the certainty they need to actually switch off.
What Our Respite Accommodation Includes

How We Make Respite Stays Work for Everyone
Before a participant arrives, we take the time to understand their routines, preferences, and any specific support requirements. We do not try to slot everyone into the same program. Each stay is shaped around the individual so the transition from home feels smooth and the experience itself feels genuinely positive.
Respite accommodation is funded through the Short-Term Accommodation support category in a participant’s NDIS plan. Our team assists participants and support coordinators to schedule and maximise STA stays across the plan year.
